Thomas Building Center first opened April 1, 1972. It was purchased by Vern and Rand Thomas. Back then we were a small lumberyard committed to serving our customers' needs. The community around Thomas Building Center has grown throughout the past 36 years and we have still been able to accommodate our customers with excellent service, prompt delivery, and competitive prices. Rand Thomas still heads up the company today as CEO.

Thomas Building Center attributes its success to our involvement in the community. We contribute to many community events that help the area grow. We contribute more every year, including scholarships and special events, helping raise more and more each year than the one before.

Thomas Building Center offers a large selection of building products including doug-fir and hemlock framing lumber, plywood, cedar products, primed spruce, roofing, insulation, drywall, interior trim, windows and doors. Our contractor sales staff, consisting of Tony Steinman, Shane Rego, Aaron McElhose, and Tony Blankenship can help you with the planning and construction of your new custom home, along with providing the areas' contractors with all their material needs. If it is a new kitchen or bath you want, then we have Diane Justice and Seth Wilhelm to assist you as cabinet specialists in our showroom. As an Ace Hardware Dealer (Ace hardware has over 5000 individually owned stores nationwide) Thomas Building Center carries a complete line of paint, tools, and hardware. And if we don't have it, we can special order it for you!
